Said they had the cheapest f450 in USA and I see why. Tyler didn’t have any paperwork ready and took way longer than planned. Didn’t have my correct paperwork because I wasn’t told to bring it. I love buying things and never leave reviews but this experience sucked. After repairs truck is great tho 👌

I had an overall good experience but I didn’t appreciate the sales manager eavesdropping on my wife and I’s conversation via the intercom on the salesman’s desk. The finance manager was terrific, but unfortunately she had to answer some very basic questions (e.g. details on the remaining manufacturers warranty) that the salesman should’ve been able to answer, but couldn’t.

We went to Exceptional Motorcar two weekends in a row. We drove one vehicle the first week. Jacob was very busy that day. He sent a text later in the afternoon to apologize for not giving us undivided attention. We went back the next week, drove two vehicles and bought one! We never felt pressured to buy anything. Located the truck online, I live about 3 1/2 hours away. called the dealership and was put in touch with Hannah. I had several questions and she stayed in touch with me over the course of the next week through text and email until I could get out there. Experience there was great and a nice clean dealership. So far no complaints with the truck. Hannah was great to deal with.

The sales group was professional and quick. They weren't willing to budge on price though. The vehicle didn't have floor mats and they weren't willing to give me any. The fuel light was on and they told me they wouldn't fill it up. The price was fair though, it fell in the top third on the bluebook range. I haven't had the vehicle long enough to tell if there was anything wrong with it i may have missed.

I was disappointed that the dealer would not accept outside financing and they would not give me as good of a rate as my credit union. I was then lied to I was told I could not refinance the loan for 6 months without penalty and I found that to be a lie after reading the finance paperwork when I hot home. I'm sure it's because they want to make money on the inflated interest rate.
I wanted to pay cash for a vehicle, they wanted to charge me $1000 more because I didn't want to finance through them
The experience with Exceptional Motorcar was nothing but horrible. My “salesman“, Mike, was a completely disrespectful, condescending, arrogant xxxxxxx. He did not bother to return my calls for three days. I was forced to call the dealership myself and he answered the phone. He then rudely told me that I wasn’t approved and then just blatantly hung up on me. He’s a waste of space, waste of time, and a waste of oxygen. My son and I went here for his first car. Zach was very awesome, helped calm my mom nerves. Answered all my questions I had (the nervous mom in me had many) and was so nice about it. We even sat and joked with him while waiting to finalize paper work! Definitely ask for Zach when shopping!

The only reason for the 4 stars is I had driven 8 hours to look at and purchase a vehicle and was made aware that the bank Exceptional uses will not accept wire transfers after 3:00Pm. It was 3:20. So, I ended up having to drive back from where we were visiting family to purchase the vehicle the next day, which took all day long for the transfer to go thru. This place is very unprofessional in the way they deal with customers, they are dishonest and do not stick to their word after MULTIPLE TIMES guaranteeing stuff and then later saying that isn’t possible AFTER RUNNING CREDIT. This is no way to do business and get people to keep coming back.

Wouldn’t take my brand new trade in. Wouldn’t take $10k cash down on top of that. Wouldn’t hold the car with a $500 deposit because it’s “bad business”. Wouldn’t detail the car even though it smelled inside. Wouldn’t fill the gas tank past 1/4 when I drove 2 hours to purchase from them. Car needed new arm bar from previous accident on car fax they didn’t fix. Sent me a check for the arm bar replacement and made it out to the wrong name. They do not care about their customers. Won’t be back.
